"A small LIRR station stop in Garden City that provides passengers from the neighborhood an opportunity to jump on a train closer to their homes rather than a traveling to a larger station like Mineola or New Hyde Park. I love the way it appears off Merlllon Avenue with the beauty of the town surrounding the station. Also, this was the last stop on that horrific day on the LIRR December 7th 1993 that Colin Ferguson opened gunfire at passengers. One may occasionally notice wreaths by the station in memory of those people loss that day."
